Clare (deceased)!

The Sixth Sense.

I start with a word of warning If you live in a house prone to cold spots or is just generally chilly DO NOT go and see this film My paranoia levels where already as high as Tony Blair's blood pressure when Cherie told him the good news and this film has not helped. Not that i'm saying its seriousley scary or anything - Just a bit too believable.

The film starts with Dr Malcolm Crowe ( Bruce Willis ) Being shot by an unsatisfied past patient, which is a little unfortunate for all those Brucee fans out there but indeed not for me. Alas the film continues with his actions the following year so with my smile gone I keep watching.

Crowe decides to take up the case of a child,Cole, with a similar case to the past patient who shot him ( who by the way shoots himself after he shoots malcolm ).Cole Sear (played by Haley Joel Osment) sees Dead people which must be a bit confusing for a child of eight. After a series of freaky incidents and a tearful ( well for me,Malcolm and Cole anyway)hospital scene Cole eventually tells his 'secret'to the doctor. In true film style Malcolm then ( and only then) goes back over the' shoot himself' mans files and finds proof that he too had the same problem and it was indeed real!

They then try and peice together whats going on and how to deal with it It is this journey that brings us to the most unexpected twist in the story which I'm surprisingly not going to tell you - Just go and watch it for yourself it really is worth it. ( Oh, If you're a bit slow make sure you take someone else with you to explain the end Cause I didn't get it at first !)

Mike (should have had a vest)! I went to see this film under protest [not how we remembered it ...]as i wanted to see Fight Club as I had allready seen some trailers for the Sixth sense and was desgusted about seeing Bruce Willis not wearing a blood stained white vest.

Bruce willis plays Dr. Malcom Crowe a Child psychologist who's patient is Cole Sear. Cole reminds Malcom of a patient he failed with earlier in his life. Cole is frightened by visitations from ghosts. Confused by his strange powers Cole tells his secret to Dr. Crowe who then then sets out to find the truth about what cole has told him. The film then carrys on with the odd non scary ghost encounter and plenty of tears from coles mother. The film reaches its climax with quite a clever twist involving Dr. Crowe. On the whole the film is quite good but its all far too nice - even the ghosts where nice. There are no scary or chilling moments anywhere in this film but its still quite good.

In my opinion It would have been better if the ghosts where evil and Bruce Willis had to tear his suit off revealing the legendary white vest and then proceded to shoot the crap out of all the ghosts bothering Cole
